Product Care Instructions

Thank you for being part of our heritage that started over 240 years ago, in 1777 by choosing a Hollohazi porcelain product. This porcelain ware was partially handmade from the finest materials by gifted artisans in Hollohaza, Hungary.

Our products contain no harmful elements, they meet or exceed all international standards and they were double checked for quality.

Instructions for care:
Your fine Hollohazi porcelain product requires tender care.

Cleaning:
Use only mild detergents, avoid abrasive dishwasher liquids and brushes, avoid
lemon based detergents if possible.

Temperature:
To minimize the chance of damaging the decoration or the glaze of your fine Hollohazi porcelain, it should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures higher than that could be potentially damaging.

Handling:
To remove food leftovers from your fine Hollohazi porcelain use only plastic or rubber cleaning tools or brushes. Avoid metal cleaning tools as they can scratch or discolor the glaze or decoration of your porcelain. If there is a tough stain, soak in warm water with a mild detergent for a few minutes.
Chips and fractures in your porcelain can be dangerous, as the porcelain is extremely sharp. If a chip or fracture occurs, handle your porcelain ware with extra caution.
Hand washing is highly recommended for all our porcelain wares,
however some fine Hollohazi porcelain items can be used in a dishwasher:
Do not overload your dishwasher. Make sure that the
plateholders are plastic or rubber coated. Do not use broken or metal plateholders, as they can damage your fine Hollohazi porcelain. Organize your porcelain wares in the dishwasher in a way that they can’t encounter anything that can damage them, while being washed.
Always wash your silverware separately from your porcelain. In the dishwasher, use the space intended for silverware.
Your fine porcelain is heat sensitive and can be damaged if instructions are not followed. Do not submit your porcelain to big changes in temperature. If your porcelain was stored in a cool place, like a freezer, avoid placing hot items on it until it warms to room temperature. If the porcelain is hot, avoid placing
cold matter on it. Avoid open flames!
All our white porcelain wares are dishwasher and microwave safe. Decorated porcelain wares vary by design, please check the label.

We hope you will enjoy using our products in good health for years to come.
